Job summary

Roche is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and evolve reusable SAP BTP/cloud platform capabilities that enable secure, scalable application development across the enterprise.

You will transform architectural decisions into production-ready capabilities, automation, and reusable services while working with Platform Architecture and Platform Operations to ensure reliability, security, and developer experience at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience making strategic technical decisions and leading large to enterprise-level project teams
• Proven track record designing and implementing integrated, reliable enterprise platform capabilities across technology space
• Experience in estimating complex engineering resources, dependencies, and timelines to deliver enterprise projects
• Experience working with SAP BTP or comparable enterprise cloud platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, development, and evolution of reusable cloud platform capabilities, engineering frameworks, and shared services
• Manage platform environments, identity integration, connectivity, and shared platform capabilities
• Own end-to-end engineering lifecycle from implementation to deliver scalable, secure platform capabilities
• Drive engineering excellence with DevSecOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation and cloud-native patterns
• Lead technology evaluations, PoCs, and adoption of emerging cloud services to improve reliability and developer experience
• Provide technical leadership across platform initiatives, mentoring teams and translating strategy into execution
