Job summary

ALOIS Solutions in Wroclaw, Poland, is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our engineering team to build, automate, monitor, and support reliable Azure-based platforms and data workflows.

You will automate operational processes with Unix, Bash, and Azure services; manage Azure Data Factory workflows; work with PostgreSQL; develop CI/CD pipelines (GitLab); monitor incidents; improve reliability and production readiness; and apply AI-assisted coding tools where appropriate.

Qualifications

PostgreSQL: strong SQL, troubleshooting & operational support.
DevOps & CI/CD experience.
GitLab for source control and pipelines.
Elasticsearch and/or Cloudera experience.
Strong troubleshooting and automation experience.

Responsibilities

Automate operational processes using Unix, Bash scripting, and Azure services.
Build and maintain Azure Data Factory workflows and data integrations.
Work with PostgreSQL for SQL development, troubleshooting, and operational support.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across distributed applications.
Improve platform reliability through observability, automation, resilient design, and production-readiness practices.
Diagnose root causes and implement long-term solutions to recurring operational issues.
Deliver secure, scalable, maintainable, and compliant solutions.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation where appropriate.
