Requirements

• Master's degree in bioinformatics, molecular biology, computer science, or a related field;
• Strong bioinformatics skills, including programming in a Linux environment (Bash, R, Python) and familiarity with commonly used bioinformatics tools;
• Good knowledge of molecular biology and an interest in epigenetics and/or developmental biology;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Experience with NGS techniques (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, WGBS, etc.);
• Experience with chromatin conformation analysis techniques (Chromosome Conformation Capture-based methods).

Responsibilities

• Perform the majority of bioinformatics analyses using analytical pipelines and procedures developed by dr Michał Gdula;
• Further develop analytical methodologies and adapt them to the project's needs at later stages;
• Contribute to the management and maintenance of the laboratory's GitHub account;
• Work closely with the research assistant and postdoctoral researcher on the analysis of NGS data generated in their experiments;
• Participate in experimental design and planning;
• Represent the laboratory at scientific conferences.
