Job summary

ICTQT - International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies at the University of Gdańsk invites applications for a doctoral candidate position in quantum error correction within the QuBriC MSCA Doctoral Networks project. The project focuses on bridging quantum and classical error correction, with secondments at Freie Universität Berlin and Alice & Bob in France.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required or equivalent foreign qualification.
• Research career focus in quantum error correction.

Responsibilities

• Carry out full-time scientific research on the project’s objectives and contribute to QuBriC work packages.
• Follow doctoral-school requirements and the QuBriC training programme.
• Undertake two planned secondments (Germany and France) and present results at seminars.
• Cooperate with supervisors, academic and industry partners, and ICTQT teams.
