As HR People Services Lead, you will manage and develop the HR People Services team, delivering core HR services and driving continuous improvement across key HR processes.As **People Services Team Lead** you will oversee global service delivery, ensuring high standards and consistency, and collaborate closely with colleagues across regions. The role includes responsibility for team performance, optimising HR operations, and supporting initiatives in talent management, employee engagement, and inclusion. You will report to the relevant Head of People LGS**As People Services Team Lead, you will:*** Lead, manage and develop the HR People Services (HRPS) team to ensure delivery of high-quality HR services that meet or exceed agreed service level agreements (SLAs).* Provide expert guidance and act as an escalation point for complex HR queries, applying current knowledge of employment law and global best practices.* Set clear team objectives, oversee performance management and recruitment, and support the ongoing professional development of team members.* Foster a culture of exceptional client service, continuous learning, and innovation, driving continuous improvement and standardisation of processes across locations.* Oversee compliance with UK and European Union employment laws, regulatory requirements, and internal HR policies, ensuring consistent and accurate HR practices.* Optimise resource planning, workload distribution, and capability development to meet current and future HR service needs.* Use data and analytics to monitor team performance, track SLA achievement, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automation.* Build strong, collaborative relationships with HR Centers of Excellence, stakeholders, and other internal partners globally.* Represent the team in firmwide projects and initiatives, advocating for HRPS priorities and leading on HR-related projects as required.* Deputise for the Head of People, Linklaters Global Solutions when needed.**Apply if you:*** **Have 2-3 years of experience in leading multi-national HR administration teams, ideally within an HR shared services environment, managing high-volume case activity.*** **Bring broad generalist HR experience, and can balance operational delivery with strategic priorities.*** **Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of core HR practices, processes, and documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.*** **Possess an in-depth understanding of UK employment law, and can confidently apply legislation in practice.*** **Have a proven track record of driving and embedding continuous process improvement within HR service delivery.*** **Are confident using English (C1/C2) to engage clearly and appropriately with stakeholders at all levels across the organization,*** **Are experienced in using case allocation or management systems, such as Workday, ServiceNow, Neocase or similar.*** Can work collaboratively across geographies, functions, and stakeholder groups within a fast-paced, evolving environment.* Have a proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire large multi-national teams.* Are highly organised, with strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage competing demands effectively.* Have background in professional services, with insight into sector culture and client-service expectations.* Have a university degree (degree-level education).**Desired requirements:*** Familiarity with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulations and law firm–specific regulatory requirements.* Hands-on experience with Workday HR modules, including HR data management and reporting.* Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification.* Additional language skills in Polish, German, or French.**Benefits** Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success.
