Job summary

Siemens Energy Kraków is seeking a talented engineer to develop and validate PCB-based power electronic solutions from concept and simulation to testing and commissioning. You will collaborate with internal and external partners, select components, and ensure reliable performance in high voltage, EMC, and thermal conditions.

You will create technical documentation and training materials to support deployment and maintenance, work within the Grid Technologies team, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Professional experience in development and simulation of PCB-based power electronic components or systems.
• Experience with PCB development standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Proficient in electrical circuit and PCB layout/parasitics simulations.
• Knowledge of Power Loop design and reliability routing in harsh environments.
• Experience with Ansys Q3D and Icepak simulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate PCB-based power electronic solutions from concept through testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners and select components.
• Create technical documentation and training materials to support deployment and maintenance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and manage testing, commissioning, and performance evaluation.
