Currently, we are looking for a Payroll Operations & Compliance Manager to join our team in Poland.

As a Payroll Manager for Europe (10 countries), you will be an integral part of our Employee Lifecycle Team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate payroll processes across multiple European entities, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, benefits and deductions in full compliance with local regulations and company policies. You will closely collaborate with our payroll vendor to manage SLA, monitor performance and drive continuous process improvements.

In addition to operational responsibilities, this role requires strong project management capabilities. You will lead and support cross-functional payroll initiatives, such as process automation, regulatory changes and pay transparency implementation, ensuring successful delivery of high-impact projects across the region.

Please note the role can be performed fully remotely from within Poland unless the successful candidate is based in Poznań then the role becomes hybrid and regular office attendance is mandatory.

Your daily responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accurate, timely and compliant execution of payroll processes in Europe
  • Processing payroll inputs monthly for few entities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate payroll records and documentation
  • Prepare payroll related reports and analyses
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements
  • Collaboration with the global payroll vendor, evaluating the performance and ensure the quality delivery service
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security for all payroll-related information
  • Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of payroll processes
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance team in terms of the for payroll related inquiries
  • Driving automation project for payroll and supporting Pay EU Transparency implementation
Your key skills:
  • Experience in preparing the payroll input for country/countries in Europe
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and social security requirements across EU countries
  • Proven track record of implementing cross country people initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to details, accuracy and data confidentiality
  • Advanced Excel skills, Power BI or another tool would be an advantage
  • Fluent communication skills in English, any other language from Europe would be a plus (Germany, Dutch, Finnish, Swedish)
  • Agile mindset and focus on automation and improvements
