Point72’s Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firmwide for all products, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange and futures, and digital assets across global markets.

What you’ll do

• Performdaily and monthly P&L reconciliationsbetween front‑office and back‑office systems for the firm’s global portfolios.
• Partner withMiddle Office, Back Office, and Valuationsteams to investigate and resolve P&L breaks across all asset classes including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
• Produce clear, accuratedaily P&L variance reportsand communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Finalize portfolio manager P&Lin our front‑office systems based on thorough variance checks, calculations, and analyses to directly influence investment decisions, investor statements, and compensation processes.
• Respond to P&L inquiries from portfolio managers, traders, and investment services colleagues, providing fast, insightful answers
• Driveprocess improvements and automation initiativesto enhance accuracy, control, speed, and efficiency in P&L reconciliation analysis.

What’s required

• Finance/business/economics/mathematics degree or related background required
• 0-3 years experience in product control or operations at a hedge fund or bank
• Knowledge of financial instruments
• Previous experience with business intelligence tools or process automation
• Superior problem solving and analytical skills
