Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Poland seeks an experienced Lead Engineer in OT Security Engineering to drive project objectives, manage teams, and develop innovative security solutions. This role requires deep technical knowledge in cybersecurity, coupled with strong business acumen to adapt to market trends. Ideal candidates will have experience with large clients and possess relevant certifications. Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Lead Engineer in the area of OT Security Engineering. The person in this role has expert-level technical knowledge of OT security, but also has many years of experience in managing a team of specialists, conducting sales processes, creating offers, and effective project budgeting.

The ideal candidate combines an understanding of cybersecurity technology with business skills, supporting the development and implementation of innovative OT security solutions.

Your scope of duties:

• Conducting and participating in OT projects as a cybersecurity expert, developing concepts, solutions, and methodologies required to achieve project objectives;
• Support in managing a team of security engineers, including delegating tasks, supervising project implementation, and supporting the professional development of team members;
• Developing new OT security solutions, identifying market trends, and adapting the company's offer to changing customer requirements;
• Preparing commercial offers, including defining the scope of work, estimating costs, and scheduling projects related to OT cybersecurity;
• Conducting technical presentations and demonstrations of solutions for potential customers, emphasizing the advantages and effectiveness of the proposed security systems;
• Participating in negotiations and meetings with clients and business partners, building and maintaining business relationships, and cooperating with sales and marketing departments;
• Creating and implementing OT security strategies, preparing technical documentation, and managing the life cycle of security projects;
• Testing security solutions, including implementation of EY's own methodology: Proof of Concept and research and development work in the OT/IoT laboratory;
• Configuration and optimization of cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with industry best practices;
• Monitoring project budgets, ensuring their profitability, and optimizing costs related to the implementation of security solutions;

Our requirements:

• Knowledge of OT security standards: IEC62443, NIST 800-82;
• Possession of product certificates;
• Experience working with large clients in an international environment and on global projects;
• Knowledge of operating system and application security used in OT environments;
• Knowledge of other systems, such as identity and access management in OT environments, and experience in implementing access control, authentication, and authorization policies;
• Practical knowledge of OT environments (ICS/PLC/SCADA/DCS), including their architecture, communication protocols, and specific security requirements;
• Ability to analyze technical documentation and create your own documentation in accordance with project requirements;
• Experience in managing a team of engineers and leading projects, including planning, supervision, and progress control;
• Sales and bidding skills, including preparing commercial offers, negotiations, and technical presentations for customers;
• Ability to manage project budgets and optimize costs related to the implementation of security solutions;
• Knowledge of English at a level sufficient to communicate fluently with customers and read technical documentation (min. B2).

• Ability to identify critical processes and systems and assess their vulnerability;
• Understanding of business processes and their impact on cybersecurity management;
