Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an OT Engineer to advance automation and cybersecurity for critical industrial projects. You will work at the intersection of automation, networking, and cybersecurity, delivering secure OT solutions across sectors worldwide.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in industrial automation/OT environments, familiarity with PLC/SCADA/DCS/HMI, and strong English communication. Hybrid work options available in Poland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial automation or OT environments.
• Understanding of industrial control systems and automation technologies.
• Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI and industrial networks.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Support assessments of ICS and OT environments.
• Design and deliver OT solutions within Critical National Infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain OT asset inventories, diagrams, and network docs.
• Review industrial network architectures to improve reliability, resilience, and security.
• Lead PLC/SCADA/DCS/RTU solution design, testing, FAT/SAT and commissioning.
• Support OT cybersecurity requirements for industrial projects.
• Assist with network segmentation and secure IT-OT connectivity.
• Review configurations of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, DCS, historians, and workstations.
• Support vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations of industrial environments.
