Job summary

Societe Generale in Poland offers an internship with a focus on Operational Risk Management. You will support the team, assist in executing risk-related processes for UK entities, and prepare slide decks for committees within a coordinated framework.

Ideal candidates are students in finance/economics, available 30+ hours per week, fluent in English, with strong MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint) and good analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled in finance/economics, internship for at least 30 hours per week.
• Proficiency in English required; French is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint) required.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities essential.
• Excellent organization and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to work independently.
• Ability to thrive in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to Operational Risk Management Team
• Assistance in execution of wide range of processes from operational risk scope for legal entities from UK wholesale banking nexus
• Preparation of slide decks for relevant committees and meetings within coordinated framework
• Participation in actions required to perform tasks related to processes managed by Operational Risk Management Team
• To monitor and report to relevant stakeholders on status and progress of monitored and covered tasks
• To provide assistance to UK and local management and senior staff members on other assigned tasks
