Job summary

Takeda is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to drive process improvement, digital solutions and operational performance within the Strategy and Process Excellence function at Takeda Global Finance Center of Excellence in Łódź, Poland.

You will design, implement and continuously improve key frameworks such as Business Continuity, Risk and Incident Management, and Performance Management, leveraging Lean Six Sigma and emerging AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification with proven improvement deliveries.
• At least 5 years in a transactional business environment.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and process-improvement training programs across GF CoE towers.
• Develop training materials and mentoring on DMAIC and improvement projects.
• Coach operational teams to implement performance management initiatives.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methods to real-world scenarios to translate opportunities into measurable results.
• Maintain leadership KPIs and support special projects as needed by the OpEx Lead and GF CoE leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through data and digital solutions, including AI/ML, and drive implementation.
• Design and maintain governance frameworks, standards and operating models for sustainable performance.

As an Operational Excellence Manager, you will support performance management and lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of key operational frameworks, including Business Continuity Planning, Risk and Incident Management, Knowledge Sharing, Performance Management, Process Documentation and Process Mining.

Accelerate value and make an impact by:

• Leading the development and continuous improvement of Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Process Improvement and Critical Thinking training programs across all GF CoE towers.
• Developing training materials, providing post-certification mentoring on DMAIC and other improvement projects, and contributing to the overall strategy for building operational excellence capabilities.
• Coaching and supporting operational teams in implementing performance management initiatives to improve quality, efficiency and timeliness.
• Applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to real-life business scenarios and helping teams translate improvement opportunities into measurable results.
• Maintaining leadership KPIs and supporting special projects as directed by the Operational Excellence Lead and GF CoE leadership.
• Identifying opportunities to improve business processes through data and digital solutions, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, and supporting their implementation through to completion.
• Designing, implementing and maintaining governance frameworks, standards and operating models that support sustainable business performance, operational resilience and process excellence across global functions.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, with a proven track record of successfully delivered improvement projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in a transactional business environment.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership.
• Strong business judgment, discretion and the ability to build trust, particularly when working with senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with digital tools and solutions, such as Power Automate, Power BI and Signavio.
• Experience working with AI models and identifying opportunities to apply AI to process improvement.

Base Salary Range:

zł169,600.00 - zł233,200.00

The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
