Job summary

A technology company based in Wrocław, Poland, is looking for an Open Source C / Rust Engineer to develop an open source framework for embedded systems. You will work on emulating various computer architectures, improving workflows, and pushing technology limits. The ideal candidate has programming expertise in C and Rust, a strong understanding of LLVM, and proficiency in Linux. Full-time employment is required, and EU eligibility is a must.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, electronics or related fields.
Expertise and readiness to program in C.
Practical experience in Rust.
Experience and deep understanding of LLVM.
Understanding of assembly.
Basic understanding of WebAssembly would be a plus.
Proficiency in Linux.
Great skill in working with large codebases.
Willingness to learn about computer architecture.
Experience in git.
Interest in open source projects.
Ability to work with other languages, especially Python.
Good command of English.
Ability and willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
Full-time employment only (no B2B, no agencies).
Permanent residency and eligibility to work in the EU.

Responsibilities

Work on emulation of various computer architectures (RISC-V, ARM, x86).
Research and exploratory work to push technology to limits.
Analyze performance and create unit tests for your code.
Solve complex problems involving assembly, code generation, and interoperability.
