Job summary

Flex Wind is seeking a Blade Repair Technician – Level C for onshore wind projects in the United States. The role involves advanced composite and structural blade repairs, inspections, and documentation, across major wind sites.

You will mentor junior technicians and support safety and operations teams to ensure efficient, high-quality repairs. Required: 1–3 years blade repair experience, fiberglass layup knowledge, ability to read technical docs, and willingness to travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on wind turbine blade repair experience.
• Advanced composite and structural repair experience.
• Knowledge of fiberglass layup, core repairs, epoxy systems and curing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical docs and repair procedures.
• Ability to work independently in high-complexity environments.
• Comfortable at heights and in confined blade spaces.
• Travel availability across the United States.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to pass medical screening, background checks and drug testing.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural blade repairs: laminate reconstruction and core repairs.
• Execute leading-edge and trailing-edge repairs and inspect blades.
• Interpret repair manuals and quality requirements; plan sequences and materials.
• Document repairs, inspection reports and quality records.
• Mentor Level B technicians and support safety and operations teams.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure safe, efficient repairs.
