Job summary

Girteka group in Poznań, Poland seeks an On Call technician/keeper to perform routine maintenance and inspections on company trucks, ensuring safe operation and accurate documentation.

You will inspect vehicles, report damages with photos, manage spare parts, and uphold safety standards, using MS Office and working with internal systems. Russian (B2) and English (B1) skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical education in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Russian language proficiency at least B2.
• English language proficiency at least B1 (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor the technical condition of tractor-trailers and ensure their safe operation.
• Conduct vehicle inspections during handover and receipt.
• Document damage with photo reports and complete handover reports.
• Check vehicle condition before trips.
• Verify spare parts availability and restock supplies.
• Perform sobriety checks on drivers when applicable.
• Maintain technical documentation and work with internal systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

About the role

Performs a number of routine tasks following set procedures in the Maintenance/Skilled Manual area. Some problem-solving ability is required.

Ensure that the company’s vehicles (trucks) are in proper technical condition and operated safely by conducting systematic inspections and checks, documenting any violations, and monitoring their technical condition

What you will do:

• Monitoring the technical condition of tractor-trailers and ensuring their safe operation.
• Conducting vehicle inspections upon handover and receipt.
• Documenting damage, preparing photo reports, and completing handover reports.
• Checking the technical condition of vehicles before they depart on a trip.
• Verifying the availability of spare parts and restocking vehicle supplies.
• Conducting sobriety checks on drivers before a trip, as necessary.
• Maintaining technical documentation and working with internal information systems.
• Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

What we expect from you:

• Vocational or technical education in mechanical engineering or a related field.
