Job summary

Equinor is seeking a Mechanical/Structural Engineer to maintain integrity and lifecycle performance of offshore wind farm systems. You will evaluate equipment condition, support failure investigations, and optimise maintenance strategies to maximise reliability and safety.

Candidates should have a degree in mechanical/structural engineering with at least 3 years of offshore experience. Fluency in English is required, Polish language skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in offshore wind, offshore structures, marine assets, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of mechanical reliability and structural integrity.
• Experience with failure investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Understanding asset lifecycle management and integrity processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical integrity support for mechanical and structural systems across the wind farm.
• Monitor reliability, condition, and fitness-for-service of critical equipment.
• Lead investigations into equipment failures and structural defects.
• Support major repair, replacement, and life extension campaigns.
• Develop maintenance, inspection, and reliability strategies.
• Review technical recommendations and manage engineering changes.
• Support lifecycle management and long-term asset planning.
• Identify improvements to enhance reliability, safety, and performance.
• Assist asset handover from construction to operations.
