Job summary

ITConnect is seeking a Network SME to lead Data & Management Traffic Segregation initiatives. You will analyze NICs, IP addresses, VLANs, network zones and existing traffic flows.

You will validate data and management traffic with application and infrastructure teams, identify workloads using management paths, define target architectures and migration strategies, and support post-migration validation to ensure stability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise networking environments.
• Solid knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, and IP networking.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure, data center, or network migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze NICs, IP addresses, VLANs, network zones, and existing traffic flows.
• Validate data and management traffic with application and infrastructure teams.
• Identify backup, replication, and other workloads utilizing management network paths.
• Define target network architecture, connectivity models, and migration strategies.
• Assess NIC port availability, network capacity, and infrastructure constraints.
• Support migration activities, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and perform post-migration validation.
• Ensure network stability, performance, and compliance throughout the migration process.
• Strong experience with enterprise networking environments.
• Solid knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, network segmentation, and IP networking.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure, data center, or network migration projects.
• Ability to analyze complex network topologies and traffic dependencies.
• Experience collaborating with application, infrastructure, and operations teams.
