Network Engineer & Architect | Enterprise DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) | Critical Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure
Our client, an in-house technology consultancy of a global consulting firm, is looking for an experienced Network Engineer & Architect to take end-to-end technical ownership of enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) services. In this role, you will lead the architecture, engineering, and operational automation of mission-critical core network services supporting global enterprise applications, hybrid cloud platforms, and data centers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking full architectural and operational ownership of designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-grade DDI platforms (Infoblox, BlueCat, or equivalent).
- Ensuring ultra-high availability, performance, scalability, and resilience across global hybrid and multi-cloud network topologies.
- Defining, governing, and automating IP address management strategies, standards, and lifecycle processes.
- Driving network automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives to streamline DDI provisioning and operational workflows.
- Partnering closely with cloud, security, and infrastructure engineering squads to integrate DDI services and enforce strict DNS security controls.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex Tier-3/Tier-4 network and DDI incidents across distributed enterprise environments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong commercial track record as a Network Engineer or Network Architect with deep specialization in core DDI infrastructure.
- In-depth expertise in enterprise DDI platforms such as Infoblox, BlueCat, or comparable enterprise solutions.
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking protocols, routing, and cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Consultant mindset: ability to propose architectural enhancements, lead modernization initiatives, and communicate complex network strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong practical problem-solving skills and experience with network automation and scripting.
Must-Haves:
- Deep hands-on expertise in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) architecture and operations.
- Proven experience with enterprise DDI suites (Infoblox, BlueCat, or similar).
- Robust background in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid network infrastructure.
- Scripting and network automation capability (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible, or API-driven integrations).
- Solid knowledge of DNS security, governance, and network compliance standards.
- Excellent English communication skills for daily international collaboration.
