Job summary

Tymiq Gmbh is seeking a .NET/C# developer to join a team that will take over existing projects and support a smooth knowledge transfer. You will work on legacy systems, maintain and enhance functionality, and identify refactoring opportunities to improve performance.

At the initial stage, focus is on onboarding into existing systems within a team, followed by long-term support and development across products. Hybrid Poznań office or remote work is available for Poland-based candidates.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of commercial experience with .NET development using C#.
• Experience with large codebases and legacy systems.
• Experience with databases (SQL / MySQL, etc.).
• Ability to read, understand, and work with existing code.
• English - B2 or higher, including spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Join a team to take over existing projects from another vendor and assist during knowledge transfer.
• Maintain and enhance existing functionality in legacy systems.
• Identify opportunities for refactoring and performance improvements.

Job description

In this role, you will join a team responsible for taking over existing projects from another vendor, working closely with them during the knowledge transfer phase. You will gradually gain a deep understanding of the architecture and codebase, contributing to a smooth transition and ensuring continuity of development. The position involves working with legacy systems, maintaining and enhancing existing functionality, and identifying opportunities for refactoring and performance improvements. You will troubleshoot issues, improve system stability, collaborate with developers and stakeholders, and contribute to technical documentation, while also participating in planning the future evolution of the products.

Important note: at the initial stage, the primary focus will be on onboarding into existing systems as part of a team and contributing to a successful transition, followed by long-term support and development.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of commercial experience with .NET development using C#.
• Experience working with large codebases and legacy systems.
• Experience working with databases (SQL / MySQL, etc.).
• Ability to read, understand, and work with existing code.
• English - B2 or higher, including spoken communication (team interaction required).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in aviation, embedded, or real-time systems.
• Knowledge of networking protocols.
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices.
