As Naval Architect within the offshore energy and navy portfolio of vessels the job tasks will be mainly related to development of our vessels within the UT-Design range. The role will require close cooperation and interaction with our customers and sales force and cover R&D tasks, development of tender documentation and follow-up work during construction phase.

You will be part of multidisciplinary project teams and good communication and co-operation skills are important.

Key accountabilities

• Develop our vessels portfolio within the UT-Design range with main focus on Offshore Energy vessels and/or other specialized vessels like Naval/Coastguard.
• Develop General Arrangement, vessel specifications and supporting documentation
• Coordinate supporting teams
• Be a driving force in the decarbonization of our vessel range
• Sales support and customer activities
• Communication with building yards, Flag, Authorities and classification societies

Qualifications and experience

• Master or Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture.
• Relevant experience from Yard, classification companies or consultancy (>3-5 years).
