• Strong Python: Solid experience as a Software/Automation Engineer (building structured, maintainable code, OOP, testing)
• Git and Gerrit proficiency
• Engineering background in software engineering or related field
• Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and planning skills
• Desirable: Airflow, Jenkins, Ansible, ISO26262 knowledge, ASPICE familiarity

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain internal automation frameworks, scripts, and software tools primarily written in Python.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate cloud services (GCP/Azure) and containerized applications into CI/CD workflows.
• Monitor and analyze CI pipeline performance, implementing improvements to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance fault tolerance.

Our client is a global leader in the automotive industry, headquartered in Sweden and renowned for its commitment to safety, sustainability, and modern mobility solutions. You will be joining their dynamic technology hub in Krakow, focused on developing cutting-edge software and next-generation vehicle infotainment systems.

The main goal of this Role is to remove legacy code and align CI solutions between different generations of Infotainment products to simplify maintenance by reducing technical debt in CI pipelines. The project involves a system migration from Azure to GCP, infrastructure maintenance, and setting up virtual machines.

Work Model: hybrid (Krakow office) - no remote option

Requirements

• Strong Python: Solid experience as a Software/Automation Engineer (building structured, maintainable code, OOP, testing), rather than basic scripting
• Git, Gerrit
• Engineering Background: Technical engineering degree (Software Engineering, Systems, or related field)
• Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and planning skills

Would be a plus:

• Airflow

• Know the basics of automotive (or similar) functional safety standards (ISO26262)
• Know the basics of any industry standard that provides a framework for defining, implementing, and evaluating the process required for system development (in automotive - ASPICE)
