We are looking for a Middle Java Engineer to join our DevEco team, which is part of our Engineering Department. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our API gateway platform that supports other teams in their API delivery process, working collaboratively with senior developers and cross‑functional teams.

You will work with the engineering manager, senior developers, and QA team to deliver robust API solutions. Keywords: API Gateway, Java, Gitlab, CI, Postman, Agility.

Essential:

• 3+ years of professional Java development experience

• Good understanding of API Gateway technologies and microservices concepts

• Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and basic DevOps practices

• Working knowledge of database technologies, particularly PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with API design principles, RESTful services, and API testing tools (Postman)

• Understanding of agile development methodologies

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Express.js or Nest.js frameworks

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker)

• Understanding of API security principles

• Experience with monitoring tools
