Job summary

Veles Productions Sp. z o.o. is seeking a talented and experienced freelance 3D Character Rigging Artist to join our metaverse-focused team. You will rig diverse characters, optimize deformation, and collaborate with international teams on cutting-edge virtual production projects.

We value strong anatomy knowledge, experience with Maya/3ds Max, Unreal Engine, and scripting for rigging workflows. Projects are varied, with competitive bonuses and a relaxed indie studio vibe.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a 3D Character Rigging Artist in post-production/animated commercials or relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max or equivalent.
• Knowledge of importing Blendshapes to Unreal Engine.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, kinematics, and deformation principles.
• Excellent knowledge of rigging techniques for bipeds, quadrupeds, and complex creatures.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (Python, MEL, etc.) for rigging workflows is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate ideas and solutions.
• Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within project timelines.
