A leading energy company in Poland seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader to oversee and enhance the maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, strong technical knowledge of machinery, and proficiency in maintenance KPIs. Job description
Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, organise, and develop the maintenance team
  • Provide technical support to team members
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Ensure high equipment availability and reliability
  • Implement Continuous Improvement and maintenance strategies such as TPM and predictive maintenance
  • Analyse breakdowns and drive root cause elimination
  • Optimise spare parts management processes
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards
Requirements:
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in managing a maintenance team
  • Proficient in maintenance KPIs, equipment lifecycle and spare parts management
  • Strong technical knowledge of production machinery design and operation
  • Good knowledge of technical drawings and CAD tools
  • Strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment: bearings, couplings, gearboxes
  • Experience working with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)
  • Lead or participate in equipment improvement and implementation projects
  • Familiarity with Kaizen/Lean methodologies and problem-solving tools
  • Knowledge of HSE practices, work permits, and LOTO procedures
  • Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Valid SEP certification for voltages above 1 kV – Group 1: Supervision and Operation
