• Experience in a similar role within manufacturing; packaging, coatings, or painting industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage qualification of materials used in production, particularly paints, coatings, and chemical agents.
• Assess, qualify, and implement new chemical materials with global teams and suppliers.
• Create and update material specifications.
• Conduct and coordinate tests to analyze compliance and impact on processes.
• Participate in supplier and production process audits.
• Support development of new technologies and implementations.

We are currently looking for a Materials Engineer.

Role Overview

In this role, you will manage the qualification process for materials used in production especially coatings, paints, and related chemical agents. You’ll work closely with Technology, Procurement, R&D teams, and suppliers to evaluate and implement new materials, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage qualification of materials used in production, particularly paints, coatings, and chemical agents.
• Assess, qualify, and implement new chemical materials in collaboration with global teams and suppliers.
• Create and update material specifications.
• Conduct and coordinate tests to analyze parameters, compliance, and impact on processes and product quality.
• Participate in supplier and production process audits.
• Support development of new technologies and implementations.

Requirements

• Higher technical education (materials engineering, chemical engineering, or related fields).
• Experience in a similar role within manufacturing; packaging, coatings, or painting industries preferred.
• Knowledge of paints, coatings, and finishes is an advantage.
• Very good command of English.
