Piedmont Global is expanding its network of professional interpreters in Spokane, WA, offering on-site (OSI), video remote (VRI), and over-the-phone (OPI) assignments as 1099 Independent Contractor opportunities. We welcome experienced interpreters or bilingual professionals seeking to broaden opportunities.

Minimum qualifications include 2+ years interpreting experience, two professional references (or one reference and one letter of recommendation), and native-level English plus other

Formación

• At least two years of interpreting experience (paid or volunteer).
• Two relevant professional references or one reference and one letter of recommendation.
• Native-level proficiency in English and other languages.
• Certification as a medical interpreter through a 40-hour training program or equivalent.
• At least two years of professional interpreting experience in healthcare settings.
• Two references or one reference and one letter of recommendation for healthcare interpreting.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate clear and accurate communication between English speakers and speakers of target language.
• Interpret conversations without additions, omissions, or changes to the speaker's intended meaning.
• Preserve the meaning, tone, and intent of the original communication.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and applicable interpreting standards.
• Communicate proactively about any circumstances that may affect an assignment.

Educación
