About The Role

As our Marketing Analyst, you’ll work at the intersection of Sales and Marketing, the space where most company growth happens. 2026 is set to be our biggest year yet as we join forces with Veeam, the global leader in data protection. This role offers high visibility, real ownership, and the opportunity to drive excellence in marketing operations.

You’ll partner closely with Growth Marketing (PPC, Events, SEO, Email Automation), Partner Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales, and Channel teams across our remote-first organization. Your work will range from optimizing Salesforce usage to refining lead scoring models through deep, data-driven analysis.

You’re a strong analytical thinker and clear communicator who understands the marketing ecosystem and collaborates effectively with stakeholders to turn insights into action. You bring proven experience working with marketing leaders and translating data into meaningful business outcomes.

You understand the marketer’s world, but you live in analysis and insights.

What You’ll Do
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities and effectiveness and business impact. We have some PowerBI dashboards and we want someone who can take us to new levels of insight using the platform.
  • Proactively explore data to find trends, discover KPIs, and apply proper hypothesis testing.
  • Monitor campaigns to optimize performance based on industry best practices.
  • Provide recommendations that enhance future campaign performance and measurements.
  • Develop robust KPIs and scorecards for marketing performance monitoring.
  • Produce and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Present analysis and findings to stakeholders across business units (Growth Marketing, Partner Marketing, Operations, Sales).
  • Consult with campaign manager and others on scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.
  • Advise on technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM, multi-touch attribution, campaign influence, data aggregation from PPC) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
What You’ll Bring
  • 4+ years of experience developing strong analytical capabilities, primarily within B2B and/or B2C environments.
  • Fluency in the language of marketing from PPC and email automation to CVRs, CTRs, cost per MQL / SQO, A/B testing, and beyond.
  • Strong Salesforce expertise, with the ability to build reports independently and derive insights without handholding.
  • Experience working with Marketo, HubSpot, or similar marketing automation platforms, including analysis of open rates, CTRs, CVRs, CPMQL, and related metrics.
  • Advanced Power BI skills, with the ability to operate confidently at a high analytical level.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools and workflows.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • A strong bias for action and a builder’s mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan effectively, drive results, communicate progress transparently, and proactively address obstacles.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining process documentation.
  • A collaborative, empathetic approach, with the ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams.
Desirable:
  • Experience working with channel sales.
  • Experience working with technology hardware and/or software.
