Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. Competitive pay and weekly paychecks are offered.

The role involves providing skilled nursing care in patients\' homes, using the nursing process and following prescribed orders. A valid LPN/LVN license, current TB/X-ray, and BLS are required; one year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state where you will practice.
• TB test or chest X-ray current.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses with the health care team.
