Job summary

GRID esports seeks a data-driven analyst to identify pricing inefficiencies in MOBA markets by combining game knowledge with data analysis. You will support trading teams by analysing match data and market behavior to improve odds accuracy and market efficiency, focusing on League of Legends and related titles.

The role involves working with live traders to detect anomalies, monitor performance, and provide actionable insights that influence P&L across GRID’s MOBA betting products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sports betting, trading, or quantitative analysis.
• Deep understanding of League of Legends mechanics, meta and tournament formats.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills with practical pricing/risk applications.
• Experience with data analysis and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Analyse MOBA match behavior to improve pricing accuracy and market efficiency.
• Conduct variance analyses and trading performance reviews.
• Validate and monitor MOBA odds models under real trading conditions.
• Detect model drift, pricing inefficiencies, and performance anomalies affecting P&L.
• Prepare actionable insights to support traders and trading decisions.
• Monitor competitor offerings and identify opportunities to improve strategies.
• Analyse patch changes, meta shifts, and gameplay developments.
• Translate findings into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
