LPI Group are an industry leader in providing earthing and lightning protection installation and associated maintenance services on a European wide basis to blue chip customers. The Headoffice is located in Dublin, Ireland. The Company have a current vacancy for a:

Lightning Protection Technician

The purpose of the role is to install Lightning Protection and Earthing Systems on a variety of structures across all forms of private, public, industrial, commercial & Data Centre sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Install lightning protection and earthing systems on Data Centres and various tall structures. This will involve working to pre-designed schemes, including drawings, a risk assessment and method statement.
  • Undertake upgrades to existing lightning protection systems to specified instructions provided.
  • Accurately complete Company paperwork including point of work risk assessment, job sheets, marked up drawings, material schedules and timesheets and ensure this is returned to the office-based team.
  • Provide onsite communications and advice to either the client or managers of a project, ensuring the Company is professionally represented at all times.

Essential Criteria:
  • Applicants must have excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in the field is essential specifically with installation of Dehn HVI System or equivalent.
  • Experience working on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Good knowledge and commitment to health and safety standards and protocols.
  • TUV Health & Safety training or equivalent.
  • Manual Handling training.
  • Working At Height training.
  • IPAF training.
