Job summary

Nexi Group in Poland is seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to provide day-to-day legal support across business units, including drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements. The role requires handling Polish/English documentation and advising on regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified Legal Counsel (Radca Prawny) or Attorney-at-Law (Adwokat)
• 3–5 years of professional experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Good knowledge of civil, commercial and business law, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements
• Experience or knowledge in legal matters related to new technologies, e-commerce, digital services or fintech
• Ability to identify legal risks and translate issues into practical business recommendations
• Experience providing day-to-day legal support to business units and working with cross-functional stakeholders
• Very good command of English for bilingual documentation and international communication
• Strong organisational skills, independence, and accountability
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, business-oriented mindset
• Bonus: experience in payments, financial services, fintech, e-commerce or technology; regulatory or M&A experience

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support to Nexi Group companies operating in Poland
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, technology, partnership, product, licensing and intra-group agreements

Job description

• Provide day-to-day legal support to Nexi Group companies operating in Poland, particularly in payment services, e-commerce and new technologies
• Support business, product, sales, operations, IT, HR and finance teams with day-to-day legal matters

• Support product teams in designing, implementing and developing products and services by identifying legal risks and proposing practical solutions
• Prepare and update legal and corporate documentation in Polish and English, including bilingual PL/EN documentation
• Support ongoing corporate law matters and service corporate bodies
• Participate in e-commerce, payment services, data protection, fintech and new technology projects
• Take part in regulatory, implementation, reorganisation and other projects within the Nexi Group

Requirements

• Qualified Legal Counsel (Radca Prawny) or Attorney-at-Law (Adwokat)
• Approximately 3–5 years of professional experience gained in a law firm or an in-house legal department
• Good knowledge of civil, commercial and business law, particularly drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements
• Experience or good knowledge of legal matters related to new technologies, e-commerce, digital services or the fintech sector
• Ability to identify legal risks and translate legal issues into practical and clear business recommendations
• Experience providing day-to-day legal support to business units and working with stakeholders outside the legal function
• Very good command of English enabling independent work with legal documentation and effective communication in an international environment
• Strong organisational skills, independence, accountability and ability to prioritise effectively
