Within this role you will manage the sourcing process for a given set of goods, apply sourcing policy and act as an interface between the supplier and organization with respect to specifications and budgets. This role will require you to demonstrate good technical knowledge in the sourcing area combined with proactive and autonomous approach to deliver the assigned scope of purchases. You will act in a dynamic environment both as an individual and a team player to secure the required progress of the Project.**Role Responsibilities:*** Ensure timely release Purchase Orders for the assigned scope at the right time and right quality within the specified targets / budget.* Bear commercial responsibility for the sourcing process for a given procurement package, i.e. initiate vendor request for quotations, bid evaluation, prepare the purchase order draft, etc., resulting in placing Purchase Orders in line with the project timeline.* Organize/participate in technical – commercial discussions with the Supplier involving internal stakeholders as needed, conducts negotiations of pricing and contractual terms.* Follow-up on the assigned procurement packages: manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution, including contractual notifications and management of claims to/from the suppliers.* Manage timely invoice validation and release, update ERP system.* Lead commercial qualification of all relevant suppliers to ensure they are qualified at all time.* Contribute to the Team’s KPI’s, i.e On-Time-Delivery, Savings and Claims* Utilize technical expertise and judgement to solve problems by leveraging your technical skills and analytic thinking.* Effectively collaborate with Strategic Sourcing leaders for globalized and coordinated commodities as well as with other internal stakeholders across the organisation* Be involved or lead some cost reduction and/or quality improvement initiatives related to sourcing activities**Qualifications/Requirements:*** Min. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college* Demonstrable years of sourcing and procurement experience with in-depth experience in high-value and complex projects.* Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills* Accountability, resilience and autonomy; decision making and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced international environment independently and with time constraints* Strong oral and written communication skills.* Very good command of English, oral and written.* Fluent in Polish language* Available for business travel on incidental basis**Desired Characteristics to be considered:*** Experience within power generation, heavy industrial, aerospace would be beneficial* Basic knowledge of Project Management would be ideal* Exposure to Strategic Sourcing and/or Financial topics.* Good awareness of legal/contractual aspects and risk management.* Able to adapt and work quickly to project situations.* Be able to manage various workstreams at the same time.* Experience on SAP and Microsoft packages.Join us and work with global teams to support global customers !
