Job summary

Luxoft searches for a senior embedded computer vision engineer to design and optimize real-time vision pipelines for consumer devices on embedded Linux/Android. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and robust deployment.

Join a team delivering ML models to edge devices with power and thermal constraints, and contribute to validation and mass production readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
7-10+ years of experience in computer vision and image processing.
Proven track record shipping consumer products with embedded vision/AI.
Strong C++ expertise (C++14/17/20) and performance optimization.
Experienced with OpenCV and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX).
Experience deploying ML models on embedded/edge devices and model optimization (quantization, pruning).
Strong understanding of 2D/3D geometry and linear algebra.
Experience with embedded Linux or Android systems and performance profiling.
Ability to optimize for power and thermal constraints.

Responsibilities

Design and implement CV and image processing pipelines for real-time consumer devices.
Collaborate with ISP, sensor, and tuning teams to optimize image quality.
Develop and deploy ML models for visual recognition, enhancement, and scene understanding.
Optimize models for edge deployment (quantization, pruning, distillation).
Implement performance-critical algorithms in modern C++ for embedded platforms.
Define and track KPIs: FPS, power usage, memory, startup time, accuracy.
