Job summary

x1F is seeking a Lead Kafka Consultant for the Data Management Team in Poland to design and implement data pipelines connecting multiple sources to a Snowflake-based platform. You will coordinate nearshore resources and ensure consistent delivery across distributed teams.

The role requires strong English and German communication, experience with Kafka in complex environments, and occasional travel to Germany. This is a full-time, B2B or employment contract with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in development and integration projects.
• Experience building data pipelines and integration solutions in complex environments.
• Experience coordinating onshore/nearshore teams and workstreams.
• Strong English communication; German skills helpful for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Implementing data integration pipelines using Apache Kafka and Flink, connecting multiple source systems to a Snowflake-based data platform.
• Coordinating nearshore resources within the data integration workstream and help ensure consistent delivery across teams.
• Acting as a key interface between onshore and nearshore colleagues to align priorities and delivery.
• Collaborating with stakeholders in the DACH region to drive successful integration in a complex project.
