Job summary

Kraken is hiring a Senior Investigator to take on the most complex market abuse casework and shape how detection evolves as the business scales. You will lead investigations end to end, calibrate surveillance rules, and support platform integration across products and data sources.

Experience with regulated markets, strong written communication, and familiarity with surveillance platforms and SQL are essential. Prior crypto-market exposure is welcomed as a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience investigating market abuse or trading conduct in a regulated venue.
• Proven ability to write regulator-ready findings and present conclusions to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with market abuse typologies such as spoofing, wash trading, insider trading.

Responsibilities

• Own complex investigations end to end, writing findings up to regulator-ready standards.
• Lead or contribute to threshold and model reviews, calibrating surveillance rules as markets evolve.
• Support design, build-out and integration of surveillance capabilities with new data sources.
