Job summary
SimCorp is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Portfolio Analytics Product Area. You will work in an agile team to refine client requirements, design scalable solutions, and enhance engineering practices.
You will apply advanced C#/.NET, learn APL, and contribute to backend services, APIs, and cloud-related optimizations. An MSc in CS or equivalent experience helps, with English in an international setting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading software teams in enterprise environments.
- Strong backend/API development experience.
- Ability to design scalable and secure solutions aligned with architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Interest and capability to work with cloud reshaping initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Understand and refine client requirements with the product team.
- Design and implement scalable, secure solutions aligned with architecture.
- Contribute to core engineering practices for readable, secure, testable code.
- Become a product expert in at least one domain and broaden knowledge over time.
- Improve tool stacks and engineering practices (CI/CD, telemetry, tests).
