Lead Analyst / Manager – Data Insights Team

Location: Warszawa, Masovian Voivodeship, Polska.

Our Client is a global technological company. Currently, they are opening a data analytics hub. We are looking for an experienced Leader to manage the data insights team.

About the project

You are in charge of an analytics SWAT team – our elite unit created to help the business manage critical challenges of our transformation on the fly. You provide fast and easy access to useful data insights for the business for their ongoing priorities & needs. Prepare data, reports, search for patterns & insights driven by your curiosity.

Your responsibilities
  • Manage a team of five functional analysts: coach, set goals, run 1:1s, build skills
  • Lead the delivery of needed business data, reports, insights, presentations
  • Present findings in key business meetings
  • Create a service model (intake, triage, SLAs, priorities) so urgent requests get handled and the team still has capacity for proactive work
  • Partner with the business (one analyst per function)
  • Run a monthly “decision backlog” review with functional leaders (Sales, Ops/SC, Finance, HR, Marketing) to agree top questions and needed metrics
  • Translate asks into clear problem statements and acceptance criteria (“how we’ll know this answered the question”)
  • Oversee production of ad‑hoc analyses, one‑off data pulls, and lightweight models (trends, cohorts, variance, correlations)
  • Publish and maintain a curated set of dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) with consistent definitions; retire duplicates and stale content
  • Standardize “exec‑ready” presentation templates (insight summary, business impact, next steps) and coach the team to use them
  • Set data quality checks for recurring content (control totals, date cut‑offs, currency/UoM)
  • Enable safe self‑service and use latest tech to increase scalability of Insights team actions
  • Measure and manage throughput and impact: time‑to‑answer, adoption, stakeholder NPS, and documented business outcome
Employer requirements
  • 6–10+ years in BI/analytics with demonstrated business outcomes; 2+ years leading analysts
  • Must‑have: practical experience with analytics in at least 2 functions (pricing/procurement/commercial/marketing/finance/supply chain/strategy)
  • Ideally with a background in consulting and practical applications of turning data into decisions
  • Passion for business and natural curiosity
  • High resilience and ability to work in fast‑pace and high‑pressure environment
  • Fluent in Excel and Power BI/Tableau (enough to review and guide); Powerpoint for communication; comfortable with SQL
  • Strong storytelling and executive communication; can turn analysis into a decision
  • Portfolio and stakeholder management: prioritization, SLAs, expectation setting
