Job summary

Rishi Immigration is hiring a motivated and target-driven Language Counsellor to promote and sell our French language programs to students in Canada on study permits or work permits. This role focuses on guiding students who want to learn French for PR pathways or work permit extensions and converting them into enrolled students.

Key duties include counseling prospects via phone and virtual meetings, explaining program structure from A1 to B2, and helping students understand how French supports

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in sales or counselling at a language school (IELTS, PTE, CELPIP, TEF, TCF).
• Strong phone sales and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and persuasive abilities.
• Good understanding of Canadian immigration pathways is an asset.
• Experience working with students on study permits or work permits in Canada preferred.
• Ability to handle objections and close Sales confidently.
• Comfortable working with targets and performance metrics.
• Strong follow up and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up after demos to address objections and collect feedback.
• Guide students through enrollment and admissions in upcoming batches.
• Maintain CRM records of leads, follow ups, demos, and enrollments.
• Achieve monthly enrollment targets and revenue goals.

The Canadian Government authorizes us to practice Canadian Immigration Law and help clients worldwide with their immigration needs, such as student visas, work permits, LMIA, PR applications, etc. Rishi Immigration is hiring a motivated and target-driven Language Counsellor to promote and sell our French language programs to students currently in Canada on study permits or work permits. The primary objective of this role is to guide students who want to learn French for Permanent Residency pathways or work permit extension purposes and convert them into enrolled students.

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Contact and counsel prospective students via phone calls and virtual meetings.
  
• Identify student needs, PR goals, and immigration objectives related to French language requirements.
  
• Explain Rishi Immigration’s French program structure including A1 to B2 levels, course duration, batch schedules, and expected outcomes.
  
• Clearly communicate how learning French can support PR pathways and increase CRS scores.
  
• Provide detailed guidance on TEF and TCF exam preparation options.
  
• Convert inquiries and leads into confirmed demo class bookings.
  
• Coordinate with French language teachers to schedule demo classes.
  
• Follow up with students after demo classes to collect feedback and address objections.
  
• Guide interested students through the enrollment process and secure admissions in upcoming batches.
  
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow ups, demo schedules, and enrollments in CRM.
  
• Achieve monthly enrollment targets and revenue goals.
  
• Work closely with the immigration team to align French training with PR strategy consultations.
  
• Handle objections professionally and provide solutions based on student goals.
  
• Build long term relationships with students and provide continuous support throughout their learning journey.
  
• Maintain high conversion rates from inquiry to enrollment.
  
• Participate in sales training, product knowledge sessions, and regular performance reviews.
  

Requirements

• Preferred - 1 year experience in sales or counselling at a language school (IELTS, PTE, CELPIP, TEF, TCF).
  
• Strong phone sales and closing skills.
  
• Excellent communication and persuasive abilities.
  
• Good understanding of Canadian immigration pathways is an asset.
  
• Experience working with students on study permits or work permits in Canada preferred.

• Comfortable working on weekends (friday week off and saturday 1st half off)
