Responsibilities

Описание

Sii Poland develops a modern fintech platform for company expense management. The product integrates payment cards, expense management, and invoice handling with partner systems such as banks, accounting platforms, and HR solutions, helping companies automate financial processes and control spending in real time.

Задачи

• Lead initiatives to design, build, and maintain scalable microservices primarily using Kotlin
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions across Platform, Services, SMB, and other domains
• Analyze system performance and implement optimizations to ensure high reliability and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and post-mortems
• Mentor and upskill other engineers
• Improve the architecture and quality of solutions
• Lead the team through technical challenges and migrations

Требования

• Have a minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
• Demonstrate expertise in server-side languages, especially Kotlin
• Have experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud environments such as AWS and Kubernetes
• Be proficient with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, testing frameworks such as JUnit and Testcontainers, and observability tools such as Grafana
• Have strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
• Have very good English proficiency at a minimum B2 level
• Reside in Poland
• Nice to have: previous work in the fintech industry or with financial products, knowledge of payments, cards, or accounting, experience in a scale-up environment, proficiency in React or TypeScript
