Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ working experience in accounting or VAT compliance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of German or French is beneficial.

Discover the Role

We are seeking Junior Tax Compliance Officer to join our international Tax Compliance Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, annual VAT returns;
• Participate to the VAT registration and deregistration processes (corporations);
• On an irregular basis, liaise with the tax authorities, external advisors and clients;
• Discuss VAT issues and/or technical matters with Senior VAT Compliance Officer / VAT supervisor;
• Execute all the necessary actions to have TMF Group and clients perform according to Compliance and VAT regulations;
• Take ownership of own development by following required and relevant trainings.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or tax;
• Great organizational skills and team spirit;
• Excellent English written and good verbal communication is required. Knowledge of German or French would be an advantage;
• Good IT skills and excellent command of MS Office (Excel) are important; 1-2 years’ working experience in accounting or/and (European) VAT compliance (in an accounting or tax advisory firm with international environment) will be an additional advantage.
