Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Poland seeks a Junior Software Engineer to join a hybrid team working three days per week from Kraków, Wrocław, or Gdańsk offices. You will contribute to Java-based projects, implement RESTful APIs, and learn in a collaborative Agile environment with guidance from senior engineers.

You will write tests, review code, and grow skills in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud concepts while working with QA and business analysts. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 0–12 months of production software development experience.
• Solid foundation in Java fundamentals; exposure to Java 21 features.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Experience with JUnit and unit testing principles.
• Knowledge of REST concepts including HTTP methods and status codes.
• Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
• Working knowledge of Spring Boot for Java applications.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) basics.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related practices.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team.
• Proficiency in English (B2+).

Responsibilities
