Job summary

Axpo Group is seeking a Junior Performance Engineer to combine asset management with software engineering, data science, and the Microsoft Platform to build digital solutions that enable informed decisions and measurable impact.

You will collaborate with operations and engineering teams to identify performance gaps, translate user needs into scalable data models, and develop tools and dashboards that connect plant data across operations, maintenance, and finance.

Qualifications

MSc in a quantitative field; strong software engineering foundations.
Proficiency in Python, data preparation, analysis and visualization.
Experience building data products, dashboards or workflow automation.

Responsibilities

Identify performance gaps and automation opportunities with operations and engineering.
Translate user needs into data models, workflows and scalable solutions.
Build data pipelines and tools linking plant operations, maintenance, finance and data.
Analyze SCADA, maintenance and business data to uncover losses and anomalies.
Develop models for performance monitoring and decision-making.
Create Power BI dashboards and KPI reports for managers and executives.
