AVSystem in Kraków, Poland, is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our CSP-focused software stack and help design, implement, and maintain resilient software across frontend and backend for real-world deployments.

We provide a learning environment with exposure to Scala, Typescript, MongoDB, Redis, Angular and Kafka, plus collaboration with product and site reliability teams in a supportive, open setting.

Qualifications

• At least few months of professional experience in full‑stack software engineering (preferably with JVM‑based language).
• Experience with full software‑development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of software engineering and computer science, including algorithms and data structures.
• Readiness to work on full‑stack (frontend + backend) issues.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to take ownership of technical challenges.
• Passion for technology, sense of responsibility for your work and willingness to expand and share knowledge.
• Proficiency in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the complete software development life cycle: design, develop, review, QA, deploy and support.
• Help to define and deliver technical key results for a project.
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings. Collaborate with product management, design, and site reliability teams.
• Participate in developer support during office hours and occasional, additionally paid standby during production upgrades and other maintenance procedures.
