The opportunity

We are looking for Junior DevOps Engineers to join our TechOps team. DevOps is one of the core practices within the Cloud Operations competency with the following key offerings:

• Environment Provisioning (On Prem/Cloud)
• Automated Infrastructure via IaC
• Monitoring & Logging and Site Reliability

As Junior DevOps engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on industry leading greenfield and/or brownfield implementations that meets the highest DevOps standards providing best user experience to EY clients across the globe. You have a passion for automation and try to implement it at every turn.

Your key responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, and implement logging and alerting for proactive incident management and uptime reliability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, QA, and security teams to align DevOps practices, streamline deployments, and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Manage cloud resources efficiently.

Skills and attributes for success

• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity of DevOps principles and some standard DevOps technologies.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation skills with languages like Bash, Python, or Go to build reliable and repeatable deployment and management processes.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows to support continuous integration and delivery (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Effective English communication skills, enabling clear collaboration with global teams, understanding documentation.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline with 1+ years’ of experience
