Job summary

Tieto in Wroclaw, Poland, is seeking a Junior CI DevOps Engineer to join the CI team. You will work on CI tooling, pipelines, and the software life cycle, contributing to the efficiency of radio software development and CI operations.

The role offers learning opportunities across CI/CD, virtualization, and containerization within a multinational environment. The position emphasizes hands-on scripting, Linux experience, and collaboration in an English-speaking team.

Qualifications

Junior CI DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an energetic person to join our DevOps team, working in the Continuous Integration (CI) area. As part of a multicultural CI/Maintenance support team, you will have the opportunity to participate in creating new IT solutions and services. You will learn about the full software life cycle and the CI/DevOps way of working. This team will support tools important for the efficiency of the Radio CI. These tools are used by radio SW developers and CI operations to follow the SW.

Our team operates in the telecommunications sector and is responsible for tools development and maintenance, installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks. Troubleshooting, innovation, and knowledge sharing are also part of our daily work.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Bash and Python scripting
• Practical experience with Full stack (Frontend/Backend)
• Experience with React, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with Object‑Oriented Programming in Python
• Practical experience in working with Linux OS
• Good knowledge of GIT and Gerrit
• Practical experience with SCM systems like GIT/SVN
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory, Gerrit)
• Experience in investigation and debugging of faults
• Understanding of containerization and virtualization
• Flexible and responsible personality with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Very good communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of agile processes and practices
• Experience with REST API implementation
• Basic knowledge of mobile network systems (5G)
• Experience with Jira
