MasterBorn is seeking a Backend Developer to join one of our teams working with US clients on diverse projects across FinTech, SportsTech, and MedTech. The stack centers on React, Node.js, and TypeScript, enabling you to build scalable server-side solutions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of commercial Node.js experience.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES2018+) and OOP concepts.
• Experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (Express.js, NestJS, Fastify).
• Familiarity with SQL databases and ORM/Query builders (Prisma, Knex).
• Willingness to learn and apply SOLID & DRY principles.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable JS/TS code with an OO flavour.
• Contribute technically to product improvements and architecture decisions.
• Document delivered code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Reuse and enhance the company knowledge base.

Salary: PLN 6.000 - 10.000 + VAT (B2B); PLN 6.000 - 8.300 brutto (UZL)

Your future tasks:

• Writing personal-best possible JS/TS code with OOP flavour
• Technical involvement in the product - finding ways to improve it
• Writing documentation for delivered code
• Peer code review
• Reuse and improve the company knowledge base
• Communicate with the team to efficiently translate business complexity (user stories/tasks) into solutions (end results/estimations)

About you - Tech skills & Experience:

• At least 6-12 months of commercial experience with Node.js
• Understand basic JS concepts (ES 2018+), use Classes, and follow recent additions/functionalities
• Basic experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (e.g. Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, etc) - know basic APIs/features, worked on at least 1 project involving such technologies, would be great to have commercial experience in it
• Know what OOP is, understand basic good practices and data structures, want to have a SOLID and DRY code with the use of design patterns
• Have worked with SQL database (integration wise) with ORM or query builder tool (ie. Prisma, Knex)
• Know how to use AI, but understands the consequences of its use and can independently write code without its support
