Job summary

Accenture Poland is offering a paid internship in IT with a focus on backend development for Retail applications. You will refine and maintain components using Java within an established codebase, support configuration and integration efforts, and help document technical workflows.

You’ll collaborate with senior staff to clarify requirements and build delivery skills. The internship requires an active student status and 30+ hours per week, with flexible hours and an option to work remotely.

Qualifications

• Must be an active student in IT, computer science or related field.
• Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, Mon–Fri.
• Practical knowledge of Java core and familiarity with Spring/Java EE is a plus.
• Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with Oracle DB preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line operations.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to track tasks across workstreams.
• Strong desire to learn retail technology and enterprise POS systems in consulting.
• Good communication in English and Polish, both written and spoken.
