Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Java Automation Tester to design and run manual and automated tests for asynchronous event-driven integrations based on Apache Kafka. You will build and maintain automated test scenarios in Java and Cucumber and participate in CI/CD pipelines.

The role is part of a large Testing Services Center in Poland that values quality, collaboration, and continuous learning, with opportunities to work on complex integration projects and to learn from a wide team of

Qualifications

3+ years of integration testing with Apache Kafka.
Proficient in Java and automated testing.
Experience with asynchronous integrations and event streaming.
Experience with Cucumber and BDD.
Experience in managing test cases in Xray or Jira.
CI pipelines in Jenkins.
REST API testing tools such as Postman/Swagger.
Fluent Polish language.

Responsibilities

Designing and executing manual and automated tests for event-driven integration.
Creating and maintaining automated test scenarios in Java and Cucumber using BDD approach.
Building and managing test pipelines in Jenkins as part of CI/CD
Reporting test results using Allure and managing test cases in Xray
Verifying API contracts using Swagger/OpenAPI
Building test projects using Gradle
