Are you passionate about Java and ready to make a difference in healthcare technology? We are searching for talented Java Application Engineers at every level (junior, regular, and senior) to join our dynamic international team. Collaborate with leading experts and help shape IT solutions for our German customer in the medical sector!

What You Will Do
  • Develop robust, scalable applications using Java (JDK 17+ and above).
  • Design and implement creative, reliable solutions for healthcare IT challenges.
  • Work closely with international teammates in an agile environment.
  • Contribute across the stack: from database design and backend processes to user interfaces and cloud deployments.
  • Lead and mentor others, if you have the experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • Language Skills: fluent spoken and written German and English (business level)
  • Java Expertise: hands‑on experience with Java (Oracle/OpenJDK 17+)
  • Frameworks & Tools: solid experience with Spring Boot, Gradle, Git, GitLab, and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Design Know-How: proficiency in UML, object‑oriented design, and architecture patterns (DI, DDD, MVC/MVVM, ER diagrams)
  • Databases: experience with PostgreSQL (version 10+) and relational database programming
  • Frontend Skills: familiarity with JSON, REST, XML, and debugging web applications
  • Cloud & Containers: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud solution development
  • Agile Methods: background in agile development, story estimation, and burndown chart usage
  • Advanced Programming: expertise in parallel, multithreaded, and asynchronous programming (TPL, Async/Await, Observer Pattern)
  • Ability to travel 3-4 times per year for 3-4 days to Germany.

  • Specialist knowledge: insights into care quality assessment, inpatient/general social medicine, and case assessment
  • Technical knowledge and project experience - data exchange: Experience in data exchange with service providers, health insurance companies, and insured persons.
  • Experience as team lead: proven experience as a team lead.
  • Experience as Full-Stack Developer: experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
  • Automated deployments: hands‑on experience with automated deployment tools (e.g., Ansible).
  • Security: understanding of cryptography (PKI, PKCS#7), security guidelines in SHI (www.gkv-datenaustausch.de), and secure data exchange.
