Job summary

SimCorp is seeking an IT Support Consultant to join its Technical Enablement team. You will solve complex infrastructure, tooling, and configuration issues, read and debug code when needed, and help improve the reliability of our delivery environment.

You will investigate problems, coordinate with specialist teams, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a collaborative Agile setting. This is not a traditional helpdesk role.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical support, application support, IT operations, software delivery, DevOps, or similar technical role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with ability to investigate incidents and identify root causes.
• Ability to take ownership of issues and drive them through to resolution, coordinating with multiple stakeholders when needed.
• Basic understanding of software development principles and the software delivery lifecycle.
• Familiarity with C# or other object-oriented languages, Git, test automation, CI/CD, Azure DevOps or similar platforms, scripting languages, and monitoring/logging tools.
• Experience reading, understanding, and debugging code even if development is not primary role.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset, comfortable working in Agile environments.
• Continuous improvement mindset focusing on efficiency, quality, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for infrastructure, tooling, environments, and development processes.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and coordinate resolution of technical issues with cross-functional teams.
• Take ownership from initial investigation to successful resolution.
• Support and maintain test environments and end-to-end infrastructure.
• Monitor automated test executions and analyze failures to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, business consultants, and product teams to resolve delivery blockers.
• Assist business consultants with configuration and DevOps-based development practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and delivery reliability.
